Peer Review CME Credits
WEM greatly values the work of our volunteer peer reviewers, who play an essential role in ensuring the merit and quality of the manuscripts we publish. In recognition of their continued support, we are pleased to now offer CME credits for peer review! For each completed review, reviewers will be eligible to receive 3 CME credits. Within 1 month of completion of a peer review, reviewers will receive information via email on how to claim the credit.
Any physician or health professional who reviews for the journal is eligible to receive CME credits. Check with your governing body to see if CME is accepted.
The Wilderness Medical Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Wilderness Medical Society designates peer review as an educational activity for 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per peer review performed for WEM (original reviews only; does not apply to reviews of subsequent revisions).
Each physician should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
