Dog Demo with Heavenly Ski Patrol ($120)
Monday, February 26, 2018  1:00 PM

Come see the dogs and the training that goes into them! What an awesome pack!! TRUE heroes and so are the handlers/patrollers that take their own precious time to train these dogs and teach them how to save lives.

We will be providing primarily a demonstration of a mock avalanche rescue scenario by a K9.  A team will arrive to a site not knowing how many victims are buried.  They will clear the site using surface clues, witness accounts, and navigating their K9 teammate utilizing the wind direction and terrain composition for quick recovery.  The victim or victims will be buried a meter deep(snowfall dependent) with locations unknown to the demonstrating team.

Depending on snow levels on the day of the workshop, expert skiing ability may be necessary. Lift ticket is in included in cost of workshop. No refunds will be given for this workshop.
