Embracing the Power of the Wilderness Medical Community
Practicing medicine in austere environments is not easy. Extended periods away from home, family, friends, in remote areas, with people you don’t know. Outside of your clinical setting, often in resource poor environments, with adverse weather and poor communication channels. It’s challenging to say the least. But it is also highly rewarding, and we keep going back. Join us on this Fireside Chat as we explore the Ubuntu Network, a free-to-access community, with the aim of bringing together wilderness practitioners across the world to share experiences, learn from one another and explore opportunities in all the corners of the world.
