2023 WMS Summer Conference

The WMS is celebrating 40 years of wilderness medicine excellence this summer, and Spokane is the perfect destination for people who love the outdoors but are also looking for somewhere that's easy to get to. There's something for every in the Pacific Northwest -  you’ll find stunning scenery, adventure, and tranquility just minutes from downtown.

Morning plenary sessions will cover all the essential summer wilderness topics.  In the afternoons you can choose from indoor and outdoor small group sessions and optional hands-on workshops, or you may choose to take some time off to bike, climb, hike, kayak, or raft. This flexible schedule allows you to have plenty of time for education, recreation and family adventure.

Registration fee includes lectures, all small group sessions, four breakfasts, welcome reception, one ticket to the Wednesday evening keynote banquet, access to the online platform and access to lecture recordings after the conference. You may purchase registration to optional pre-conference sessions, workshops, and/or additional tickets to the banquet.
