MedSail is a one-of-a-kind sailing experience that combines adventure, relaxation, and professional development. Escape the stress of everyday life while also earning Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits and/or FAWM credits as you learn from expert instructors and network with colleagues in a breathtaking setting. You'll have the opportunity to explore the open water, hike through rugged landscapes, or snorkel in crystal-clear waters after morning lectures on a variety of topics in multiple ports of anchorage.

Where

British Virgin Islands

Make arrangements to sail aboard a BVI Yacht Charter Captained Yacht or Captain your own boat, ranging in size from 30 to 54-ft., monohulls or catamarans.

The WMS will conduct a 3-4 hour seminar each morning. After the seminar is over, your group will sail to a different anchorage each day, with stops along the way for snorkeling, hiking or just relaxing.

Who

Target audience: Physicians and other Medical Care Providers who have an interest in providing medical care in “remote” environments such as wilderness settings or in developing countries are encouraged to attend.  Physicians counseling their patients traveling to remote areas will benefit as well.  However, you needn't be a medical professional to join MedSail 2024. This event is open to any sailor who wants to feel safer and more knowledgeable on the water.
