Your grant proposal application should include the following:

A. Summary description of the project (not to exceed 5 pages), including

1. Introduction
2. Background
3. Hypothesis
4. Method and Design
5. Data Analysis
6. Time Frame
7. Facilities

B. Significance of the project to the field of wilderness and environmental medicine (not to exceed one paragraph)

C. Detail budget (refer to grant application information), in US dollars.

D. Letters of support. Applications must include a letter of support from a faculty sponsor.

E. Research proposals involving human subjects must include a plan for obtaining approval for the study from the appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) for research involving human subjects. Funding for research involving human subjects will not be released by the Wilderness Medical Society until a copy of the final IRB approval is received.
